'Project Healthy Bones' Coming To Westfield
The free program is brought to the community by the Westfield Regional Health Department.
WESTFIELD, NJ — A free program for adults to strengthen bone health is coming to Westfield in the new year.
"Project Healthy Bones" is a 24-week course for those with, or at risk for, osteoporosis or osteopenia. A number of workouts that target the body's larger muscle classes will be held to build strength, balance and flexibility.
Along with physical workouts, the educational portion of the course will cover health topics like diagnosis and treatment, medications, nutrition, fall prevention, safe movement, and lifestyle factors.

The first class will be on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026 at 10 a.m. in the Westfield Community Center at 558 West Broad St.
