As of 4:52 a.m., there's a crash investigation on Route 22 eastbound west of New Providence Road in Mountainside, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation. All lanes are closed and detoured, the agency said.

MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ - A crash investigation on Route 22 in Mountainside has prompted commuting delays Thursday morning, authorities said.

As of 4:52 a.m., there’s a crash investigation on Route 22 eastbound west of New Providence Road in Mountainside, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation. All lanes are closed and detoured, the agency said.
