WEATHER UPDATE: Hour-by-Hour Forecast As Snow Approaches Westfield
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory and hazardous weather outlook for the region.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory and hazardous weather outlook after reporting that 3 to 6 inches of snow and traces of ice are expected to blanket the region.
Westfield can expect snow this afternoon, with temperatures around 35 and wind chills between 30 and 35, the NWS said. Total possible daytime snow accumulations are between 2 and 4 inches.
Tonight, Westfield can expect snow before 1 a.m., then a chance of snow and freezing rain. Temperatures should remain steady around 33 degrees, with wind chills betweem 25 and 30. Possible snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches, the NWS reported.

Temperatures are expected to warm up on the weekend, however. Saturday and Sunday are expected to have peak temperatures of 47 and 40 degrees respectively.
