WEATHER UPDATE: Westfield's Hour-By-Hour Forecast

Westfield can expect to see between 3 and 7 inches of snow this afternoon.

As the State of New Jersey declared a state of emergency, the National Weather Service’s winter storm warning for Westfield remains in effect through 7 p.m. Thursday, March 5.

Westfield can expect to see snow, mainly before 4 p.m, according to the NWS. The temperature will remain around 24 degrees, with wind chills values between 15 and 20, and possible daytime snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches.

  • 9 p.m. - 20 degrees, wind chill of 10, slight chance of light snow
  • Midnight - 16 degrees, wind chill of 4, mostly clear, snow stops

Hazardous travel conditions will exist due to the inclement weather. The National Weather Service said, “hazardous travel conditions are possible due to greatly reduced visibilities and significant snow accumulations.”
