Weichert, Realtors Westfield Office To Host Silent Auction Benefiting The American Cancer Society
Real estate offices host silent auction to raise money for cancer research.
Joseph McDonald, regional vice president of Weichert, Realtors’, announced that the Union and Westfield offices will be hosting a silent auction on Thursday, July 30, 2015. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and bidding will end at 8 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus located at 2400 North Avenue in Scotch Plains.
The event will feature wine, cheese and entertainment by a local pianist. The silent auction items will include donations from the local community, as well as other items and services provided by neighborhood merchants.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Weichert, Realtors’ 15th Annual Golf Outing scheduled to take place on Thursday, August 20, 2015 in Bedminster, NJ, which will benefit the American Cancer Society and breast cancer research.
“On behalf of the offices participating, we are honored to be part of a fundraiser that brings our community together for a safe, heart-felt event,” said McDonald. “In line with the Weichert culture, we are privileged to contribute our time and donations to an event that makes such a powerful impact and assists an organization that works so diligently to help those battling this devastating disease.”
