Westfield Home Entered, 2 Vehicles Stolen From Driveway: Police
2 vehicles were stolen from a Westfield driveway after the adjoining residence was entered early Saturday morning, police said.
WESTFIELD, NJ - Two vehicles were stolen from a Westfield driveway after the adjoining residence was entered early Saturday morning, authorities said.
The theft took place at a residence on Faulkner Drive around 5:30 a.m., Westfield police said, adding that the home was entered in order for the subject(s) to locate and steal the keys to two BMWs.
“Be sure to lock your vehicles and homes!!!” police said in a Nixle alert just before 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning. “Please be sure to safeguard the contents of your vehicles, like garage door openers, by locking doors.”

It was not immediately clear whether the BMWs were located as of Saturday afternoon.
Westfield police urged residents to Immediately report all suspicious persons, vehicles and/or activities to the police via 911.
