Westfield Seeking Help Locating Potholes

The Town of Westfield is asking for the public's help locating all the potholes around town.

One seemingly unavoidable consequence of winter is driving down roads riddled with potholes. The Town of Westfield is attempting to address this issue as winter slinks away and spring begins to take shape.

The Town of Westfield is seeking the public’s help locating and compiling a list of potholes on municipal roadways.

“Our pothole patrols are out in force trying to repair as many as possible as quickly as possible,” the town said on its website. “We need your help in compiling a list of pothole locations on municipal roadways so we can be sure not to miss any.”

The Town of Westfield asked residents to report any potholes by submitting a form to the Westfield Department of Public Works or by calling (908) 789-4100, option 3.

The town is not responsible for county or state roadways. To a report a pothole in Union County, an online form is available on the county’s Department of Public Works and Facilities Management site. Or call (908) 789-3660.

To report a pothole on a state highway, call the New Jersey Department of Transportation at 1-800-POTHOLE or fill out an online form at NJDOT’s website.
