Christian Barber led a pair of Westfield wrestlers who will see actions again on Saturday in the Atlantic City state wrestling championships on Friday night. The 152-pounder won two matches to make it to Saturday's quarterfinal round. He defeated Becton-Wallington's Tyler Mealy, 7-1, in the preliminary round before beating Johnny Sebastion of Bergen Catholic, 2-1, in the pre-quarterfinals. Joining barber will be Mike Kalimtzis (103). Kalimtzis beat Lower Cape May's Zach Valcarce, 3-2, in the preliminaries before losing to Joseph Ghione of Brick Memorial, 6-4 in OT, in the pre-quarters. Kalimtzis will compete on Saturday in wrestlebacks. Come back to Patch to see how the duo does on Saturday.
