Meneca Ryner, 18, of Irvington, was fatally shot last night on Lincoln Place in Irvington. No arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified in the active investigation.Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray and Irvington Police Director Tracy Bowers announced the report of Ryner's death in a statement to the press on Wednesday afternoon.The Essex County Prosecutor added that the shooting took place at 8 p.m. on Nov. 18 in the vicinity of 70-72 Lincoln Place in Irvington. The Essex County Homicide and Major Crimes Task Force are investigating the shooting.This is a developing story. More information will be reported as it becomes available.
