On Feb. 11, West Orange firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire at the store, located at 455 Mount Pleasant Ave. in the Mount Pleasant Plaza, and encountered smoke coming from the rear of the structure.

Firefighters had to force their way into the bagel shop, but were able to place the blaze under control within 20 minutes.
