News from the Youth Committee
In a continuing effort to enable mothers of young children to come to shul, the Youth Committee has worked with the board to set up a private area for nursing mothers.

This area, which has been set up in the women’s restroom, has a private curtain that can be closed as necessary.

There is also a new comfortable armchair that was donated by the Routhenstein family and a new changing table donated by the Rosenblat family.

The shul would like to ask that this area be reserved for nursing mothers and that the curtain be kept open unless the area is being used for nursing.

Additionally, a changing table has been put back into the men’s restroom. Thank you to the Routhenstein and Rosenblat families for their donations.

Hanukkah Party
The Children’s Hanukkah Party held this past Sunday in the social hall was a huge success. There were close to 30 kids who participated in various cookie decorating and arts & crafts events. Congratulations to Gaby Chamama and Dahlia Maron won first and second places in the art contest. The shul would like to thank our Youth Directors Reuven and Jessica for their hard work, as well as Debra Rinn, Marcy Fink and Shoshana Tennenberg who worked closely with the youth directors to ensure that this event would be a success. The next Youth Committee event titled “Crazy Olympics” will be held on Saturday night, Jan. 7 at the shul for 3rd grade and up. More information to follow.
