• Lawsuit Arising From Scrapped Dune Project Is Dropped (capemaycountyherald.com) — Wildwood Crest has been released from a lawsuit North Wildwood filed to stop the borough from exiting a regional $54 million dune and beach protection project that has since been canceled. State officials say the Army Corps dropped the plan after Wildwood and Wildwood Crest declined to provide sand and easements, and North Wildwood is now suing the DEP instead while future beach replenishment decisions shift to incoming local leadership.
