2-Alarm Fire Reported At Woodbridge Condo Development: Officials

The Woodbridge blaze was confined to a single unit in an occupied multi-family townhouse, officials said.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ - A two-alarm fire was reported at a condominium complex in Woodbridge Sunday afternoon, officials said.

The blaze, reported at 738 Cricket Lane in the Wyndmoor at Woodbridge Complex, was confined to a single unit in an occupied multi-family townhouse, Woodbridge fire officials said in a social media statement.

“Units arrived and had fire showing from the A/D side of the structure and made an aggressive interior attack, knocking down the fire quickly,” fire officials said. “Units performed ventilation on the roof and checked for extension which was negative.”

Members from Fords, Avenel, Port Reading, Perth Amboy, Hopelawn, Iselin, Colonia and Edison fire departments assisted at the scene.

No serious injuries were reported. It was not immediately clear if the fire rendered the damaged condominium unit uninhabitable.
