CARTERET, NJ - A crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in Carteret has prompted commuting delays Friday morning, authorities said.
As of 8:09 a.m., there’s a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike outer roadway northbound south of Interchange 12 - Carteret - Rahway in Carteret, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
One right lane is currently blocked, the agency said.
