Former Antonio's Pasta/Ravioli May Become Fried Chicken Joint: Report
Also on the Sept. 18 agenda is a proposed expansion of the former restaurant at 430 New Brunswick Ave. in Fords, and building 12 apartments:
WOODBRIDGE, NJ — There are two new proposals currently in front of the Woodbridge Planning Board:
The first is a proposal to tear down the empty storefront at 545 Rt. 9 in the Hopelawn section (next to Majestic Lanes Bowling) and replace it with a one-story, 2,200-square-foot drive-through fast food restaurant.
That is the former location of Antonio's Pasta and Ravioli, which closed in May. The new fast-food restaurant that seeks to open is Pollo Campero, a fast-food fried chicken chain, MyCentralJersey reported.

Pollo Campero would tear down the building that housed Antonio's Pasta and Ravioli and build a new structure for their fried chicken take-out.
They seek multiple variances that need approval from the Woodbridge Planning Board and their application will be heard at the next Planning Board meeting Sept. 18.
