WOODBRIDGE, NJ — What started cold and drizzly ended with — dare we say — some sunshine for the 50th annual Woodbridge St. Patrick's Day parade, held Sunday through the center of Woodbridge proper.
Parade chairman Sean Daly said it takes a village to put on such a huge community event, and he thanked all of Woodbridge Twp. for coming out to cheer the parade on.
"As I always say, 'everyone loves a parade,'" said Daly. "There’s a lot of knowledge and experience that comes with (this parade). They’ve been doing this for years. I had a great co- chair in Keven McCreary, who will be next year's parade chairman (2025). Not to mention that I have my wonderful wife Connie as my right hand person to help me with making flyers and getting things in order for the parade meetings."

The St. Patrick's Day parade is "first of all, a tradition in Woodbridge," Daly continued. "It's a tradition that we have this parade every March. This is 50 years now and the Woodbridge American Irish Association is just a big family. As soon as this year's parade is over, we are already thinking about next year."
