Sayreville Woman Charged In Overdose Death: Prosecutor

Police say the woman provided the heroin and fentanyl responsible for causing another's death.

SAYREVILLE, NJ — A Sayreville woman has been charged in the overdose death of a fellow borough woman after allegedly providing the drugs, Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey said.

Danielle Urbanowicz, 30, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, faces one count of strict liability for a drug induced death for allegedly selling a 32-year-old woman the heroin and fentanyl that caused her death, Carey said. Urbanowicz was previously charged with distribution of a controlled dangerous substance.

Carey said the woman was found dead in her home on Oct. 22 from the combined toxic effects of heroin and fentanyl.
