Dog Saved From Icy Wyckoff Pond: Police
The small dog fell through the ice, but firefighters and police quickly responded.
WYCKOFF, NJ —Firefighters saved the life of a small dog that fell through the ice at Zabriskie Pond Thursday morning, police said.
Police responded to a 10:45 a.m. call that a dog was walking on the ice, said Lt. Joseph Soto. They saw the dog in the water in the middle of the pond.
The Wyckoff Fire Department got to the pond and pulled the dog from the water, Soto said.

The dog was turned over to TYCO Animal Control, who took it to a local animal hospital.
