The Bergen County Division of Veterans Services will hold its annual POW/MIA Recognition Day Ceremony to honor all Americans who are former prisoners of war, service members and civilians still unaccounted for and their families.
The ceremony will start with a continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Friday at the Fiesta, 255 Route 17 South, Wood-Ridge.
Approximately 70 veterans, including two former prisoners of war, are expected to attend the ceremony. The main focus of the event is the POW/MIA table ceremony, which honors the sacrifice of prisoners of war and those still missing in action.
