Gold Star Mothers Ceremony at Town Hall

The Blue Star Mothers of America Inc. will honor troops with a candle-lighting ceremony at 7 p.m. Sept. 26 at Town Hall.

The township has proclaimed Sept. 26 as National Gold Mother's Day and urges "every individual, school, church, organization, business establishment and household to take advantage and participate in the activities being sponsored throughout our area in addition to making a public display of their patriotism and support of our troops, veterans and their families by displaying 'Old Glory' in the proper, respectful manner."

The ceremony in Wyckoff will honor the sons and daughters serving in the military and is supported by the nonprofit, nonpartisan organization.
