Franklin Lakes Hosting Photo Contest for 2014 Borough Calendar

Franklin Lakes is hosting a competition for photographers, and the winners will see their work displayed in the annual borough calendar.

According to an e-blast sent out by the borough Friday, it is looking for photos that "capture the essence of our Franklin Lakes community" to feature in the 2014 calendar.

"We are looking for scenes of Franklin Lakes throughout the seasons," the e-blast explains. "Scenes identifiable with Franklin Lakes (pictures of landmarks such as the Circle, the recreation fields, Borough buildings, the Nature Preserve, and the Clock or Flag Park), will be heavily favored in the competition. Historical photos are desired and will be featured in at least one month and likely for a full calendar in future years."   

The winners' pictures will be printed in full color with proper photo credit.

To Enter: Photos should be high quality and must be sent as an attachment via email to webteam@franklinlakes.org or dropped off in the Borough Administrator's office at Borough Hall on disk or flash drive.  Include your name, phone number, e-mail address and location photo was taken with each high resolution .jpeg submitted.
