Franklin Lakes Man Charged With Possession Of Child Sex Abuse Materials: Prosecutor
A Franklin Lakes man has been arrested for possession of child sex abuse materials. Reports said he was a former county sheriff.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A Franklin Lakes man has been arrested on a charge of possession of child pornography, prosecutors said Friday.
Stephen Bojekian, 69, was charged with the third-degree crime on Thursday and taken to the Morris County Jail to await a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
NJ.com and the Record identified him a retired chief for the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department, who'd spent 26 years there.

Prosecutors said that on Thursday, their Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at Bojekian's residence "during the course of an Internet child sexual abuse material investigation."
They said, "The investigation revealed that Bojekian used the Internet to view, download, and possess items depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children."

Prosecutor Mark Musella thanked the Franklin Lakes Police Department, the New Jersey State Police, as well as the Woodcliff Lake and Washington Township Police Departments, which both participate in the Bergen County Cyber Crimes Task Force.
