DWI arrest; Juvenile arrested for marijuana possession; Stop & Shop theft; Fraudulent credit card usage.

The following is a press release from Franklin Lakes Detective Lieutenant John Bakelaar:
- 12/22/14 – 11:48 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Tanglewood Ct, Trixie Rasey, 51, of Franklin Lakes, was arrested and charged with DWI and Reckless Driving.
- 12/26/14 – 9:52 a.m. – As a result of responding to a report of suspicious vehicle parked in the cul-de-sac on Omaha Way, a 16-year-old male resident of Oakland was detained for Possession of Marijuana. The juvenile was released to his parents. The matter has been forwarded to the Bergen County Family Court.
- 12/29/14 – After receiving a report of shoplifting from Stop & Shop Loss Prevention, officers arrested Ralph Torraco, 70, of Franklin Lakes. Torraco was charged with charged with Shoplifting approximately $24 worth of merchandise.
- 12/29/14 – A Mabel Ann Avenue resident reported that unknown persons had fraudulently opened a Sear credit card account using her identification. The account was approved for $2500; a $46 charge had been made.
- 12/29/14 – A Reservoir Drive resident reported that unknown persons had fraudulently opened three credit card accounts using his identification. The accounts were closed before charges could be made.
