Gottheimer Honors Veterans Who Died Protecting United States
'We must never forget the sacrifice of those who gave their lives to protect our country,' Gottheimer said.

WYCKOFF, NJ — Rep. Josh Gottheimer attended the township's annual Memorial Day ceremony Monday.
Gottheimer, a Wyckoff resident, attended the ceremony with township first-responders. The ceremony was held at the Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department in front of the Dana Hannon Memorial. The ceremony included the presentation of the colors by the Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department, the national anthem, tributes from speakers, including Gottheimer, and patriotic music.
"We must never forget the sacrifice of those who gave their lives to protect our country, or the sacrifices made by our men and women in active duty, our first-responders, and our veterans to protect the freedoms we enjoy here in the greatest country in the world," said Gottheimer, a Democrat representing the 5th Congressional District. "It's important that towns like Wyckoff hold these ceremonies, so that we can all come together to ensure we never forget the sacrifices our brave service members and first-responders make every single day."
