Letter One

To the Editor,

I have known Christine Christopoul for 12 years and during that time have watched her become a leader in our town through her work on the Executive Boards of the Newcomers and Neighbors Club, the Woodside Avenue School PTA, the Franklin Lakes Education Foundation and most recently as a member of the Board of Education. Christine leads by example and consensus. She is well-respected, level headed and open minded, all qualities that are important for working with others on a board.

My children are grown and out of school now, but I am a real estate agent in Franklin Lakes ad I know the importance of maintaining the reputation of both our town and our school district. Franklin Lakes has been criticized lately due to negative press regarding the BOE and negative campaigning. In my job, I witness first hand how damaging this can be with regard to prospective home buyers.

I support Christine Christopoul because she is experienced, capable and does not engage in negative behavior. She is knowledgeable about our schools and has the best interest of our students and community at heart. On November 5, please join me in voting for Christine Christopoul for the Franklin Lakes Board of Education and restoring the good reputation of Franklin Lakes.

Letter Two

To the Editor:

I write you today in support of Christine Christopoul for the Franklin Lakes BOE.

In the ten years I have known Christine her dedication, knowledge and interest for the Franklin Lakes school district has never wavered.

Christine's dedication for our schools and children has been proven in her commitment as Woodside Avenue PTA President, President of the Franklin Lakes Education Foundation and as a Board of Education member.

I support Christine because of her integrity and honesty. The Board of Education is faced in hiring a new Superintendent and meeting the demands of our ever-changing guidelines from the state. Voting for Christine will ensure a steadfast voice that hopes for continuity and excellence in our district.

I am confident in Christine's abilities and her history as a current BOE member. An important trait for success is to have the ability to listen and to make others feel like they are being heard.  In voting for Christine I can assure you that she will continue to listen. She is factual and fair.

I happily endorse Christine Christopoul for the Franklin Lakes BOE. I support her commitment and her drive to better our schools, our teachers and our children.

Sincerely,

Gina Hayes

Letter Three

Dear Editor,

It is with great pleasure that I offer my support to Christine Christopoul in the upcoming Franklin Lakes Board of Education election.

Over the past nine years, Christine has proven to be a beacon of veracity for the Franklin Lakes community through her involvement in our myriad educational programs. She has served as the president of both the Woodside Avenue School PTA and the Franklin Lakes Education Foundation. In each of these roles, I was consistently impressed by her professionalism, wealth of knowledge, and most importantly, her genuine dedication to our children.

In recent years, I watched as Christine assumed a most deserving position as a member of the Board of Education. Again, I witnessed a woman who brought an unparalleled sense of fairness and unwavering commitment to the role. While serving as a member of the Board of Education, Christine has proven that she is diplomatic, fair, and open-minded. Such qualities are integral to an organization that represents so many diverse members of the community. Christine genuinely understands this and has proven to be cognizant of the various interests of the public through her work.

As a loving mother, Christine understands the importance of developing and maintaining a positive educational environment for our children.  She puts the best interest of our children at the forefront of her decision making.  Due to her many years of experience serving our schools, Christine understands that Franklin Lakes has all the components needed to be successful – superior students, caring teachers, committed parents, and dedicated administration.  She is certainly someone whom I feel most confident entrusting the future decision making of our district to.

Christine’s dedication to this community from PTA President to Board of Education member has greatly enhanced the Franklin Lakes School district. Please join me in showing my appreciation to Christine, and her years of service, by offering her your continued support on November 5.

Sincerely,

Susan Burgess
