Man Robs Gas Station In Wyckoff, Takes $83 Cash: Police

A man was accused of robbing $83 in cash from a LUKOIL gas station in Wyckoff, and then running away; the suspect is still at large.

WYCKOFF, NJ — A man, presumed to be in his 20s, was accused of robbing $83 in cash from a LUKOIL gas station in Wyckoff on Wednesday morning and then running away, Police Lt. Joseph Soto said.

An employee told responding officers that the man entered the gas station, pointed toward the cash register and demanded the cash out of it, Soto said.

Police said the suspect, described as a white man, approximately 5-foot-6, with a stocky build and brown hair, stole the money and then immediately ran off.

During the robbery, the suspect kept his right hand concealed in his jacket pocket, as though he might have had a weapon, police said. No weapons were displayed, however.

Additionally, the suspect was described as wearing a white baseball cap with a small black logo, sunglasses, a black cloth mask with marijuana leaves printed on it, a black V-neck T-shirt, a black jacket with a hood, black pants, and black and white sneakers.
