Wyckoff Pedestrian Identified As Victim In Friday Hit-And-Run
A pedestrian fatally struck in Midland Park on Friday night has been identified as a Wyckoff man.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A Wyckoff man has been identified as the victim in a hit-and-run in Midland Park on Friday night, prosecutors said.
Paul Adams, 70, was struck on Godwin Avenue at approximately 7:09 p.m. Friday, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
The Midland Park Police Department responded to a 911 call reporting a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle that night, prosecutors said.

Adams was taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, where he was ultimately pronounced dead, prosecutors said.
The striking vehicle left the scene, prosecutors said.

On a Facebook page with details of the incident, a woman wrote, "I know the deceased, Paul. He was a very nice and helpful person."

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Fatal Accident Investigation Unit is still investigating.
