Wyckoff Dad, Daughters 'Lose Everything' In Fire

The father and his kids were not injured, but the home is uninhabitable.

WYCKOFF, NJ —A township father and his daughters lost everything after a fire broke out at their home Saturday morning.

Police saw flames shoot out from the back of the home when they responded to a call about the blaze at about 7 a.m., said Lt. Joseph Soto.

The father and his daughters got out of house before police arrived. The township fire department responded and extinguished the fire, Soto said.

The home was declared uninhabitable.

Authorities are investigating what caused the fire, but it does not appear to be suspicious, Soto said.

Mary Guarracino said the house is her ex-husband's and their daughters live there part of the time.She started a GoFundMe campaign Saturday night to help them out.
