Residents are urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers if they know anything about the case.

2. Project Jupiter donates $50,000 to local food pantry (lcsun-news.com) — A $50,000 donation from Project Jupiter will fund multiple Casa de Peregrinos pop-up food pantries while helping support its already strained main pantry in Las Cruces. The gift follows ongoing controversy over Project Jupiter’s massive, bond-backed data center project in Doña Ana County.

3. Robber pleads guilty to stealing from Las Cruces bank (kvia.com) — A man has pleaded guilty in federal court to robbing a PNC Bank branch on East Lohman Avenue in Las Cruces, as well as another bank in Los Lunas. The Las Cruces robbery netted just over $3,300, and all three defendants now face federal prison time.

4. Arizona fugitive pleads guilty to assaulting Border Patrol agents (wgno.com) — A fugitive from Arizona has pleaded guilty to ramming a stolen car into a Border Patrol vehicle after a high-speed pursuit that came through the Las Cruces area on I-10.
