Bomb Threat Prompts Lockout At Several Albany Schools: Report

City police received the threat Thursday morning, according to a report.

ALBANY, NY — Several Albany schools were placed on lockout Thursday after city police received a bomb threat targeting Hackett Middle School and other schools not in the district, the Albany Times Union reported.

Hackett and Thomas O'Brien Academy of Science and Technology were among schools placed on lockout, according to the Times Union.The district did not release a complete list of schools threatened.

A lockout means that while classes go on as normal, no one is allowed to enter or exit the affected schools.
