Congratulations to Neel Chittur!

On Saturday the junior placed 21st in the 3200m at the New York State Indoor Track and Field Championship meet.

Chittur also ran a new personal best of 9:33:48 and holds the new Albany High School record which was previously set by him during this indoor track season. The last record, held by a different student-athlete in the 3200m, was Alfie Woodard in 1982.

Chittur is the sixth-ranked junior in the state in the 3200m.
