City School District Of Albany: Youth Wrestling Program

Open to all City School District of Albany students in grades 3-8, this free program will teach fundamental wrestling techniques including takedowns, reversals, escapes, pinning combinations and more. 

The program is run by Albany High’s wrestling coaches, and meets in the Albany High annex gym on Saturday mornings at the dates and times below.

Students should plan to attend all sessions (or as many as they are able to) and bring sneakers, sweatpants, t-shirts and water bottles. Parents/guardians are also encouraged to stay and see students’ progress.

Grades 3-5: 9-10:30 a.m.   |   Grades 6-8: 10:30 a.m.-noon
