The show is part of an eight-city US tour that also includes stops in Los Angeles (Oct 13); Phoenixville, PA (Oct 17); Ambler, PA (Oct 18); Rochester, NY (Oct 19); Brooklyn, NY (Oct 21); and Southern Pines, NC (Oct 22). The tour is made possible with support from V–Flow Music and Stichting Enveloppe.

Their evocative original compositions bring together their omnivorous range of influences from jazz, classical and folk music: rich harmonies, catchy melodies and energetic improvising, spanning the range from deeply emotional to fun. Together, these two virtuoso musicians use the intimacy of the duo setting to full effect, taking listeners on a journey through a variety of musical landscapes and creating a thrilling and unforgettable listening experience.

They’ll play new music as well as selections from their 2022 album Two for the Road, which earned critical acclaim as “simultaneously cerebral and fun…my default soundtrack,” (Bill Brownlee, There Stands the Glass) and for its “beauty and eclectic influences.” Stream “Tibi Gracias” YouTube

Eric Vloeimans (trumpet) is one of the best-known musicians in his native country, the Netherlands. He has led a wide variety of ensembles over the years and is a frequent guest soloist with bands and orchestras of all kinds. He has won eight Edison prizes (the “Dutch Grammy”) for his recordings including, most recently, for his 2022 recording Wild Port of Europe. He has also toured throughout Europe, Asia and the US with his own groups and artists such as Mercer Ellington, John Taylor, Peter Erskine, The Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, Wayne Horvitz, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and many others.

Will Holshouser (accordion) is a veteran of the New York music scene who has performed all over the world with artists including violinist Regina Carter, clarinetist David Krakauer, and improvisers Han Bennink & Michael Moore as well as with his own projects. He has also performed with Antony & the Johnsons, Kiran Ahluwalia, Uri Caine, Guy Klucevsek, New York City Ballet, New York City Opera, Martha Wainwright, Loudon Wainwright, Suzanne Vega, and others.
