OurBus Introduces New Route with the Most Service to NYC

OurBus, the country’s top-rated new intercity travel company, has launched a new bus route that runs between Albany and Manhattan. In addition to offering more scheduled service than any other transportation company in the market, the cost to travel the Albany-NYC route is the most affordable of all bus lines.

The OurBus route runs on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, with the greatest number of departures/returns on Friday and Sunday. Stops along the route include Albany SUNY (at Collins Circle), Woodbury Commons, and New Paltz (at New York State Thruway Park and Ride - Exit 18). Stops at Albany Cross Gates Mall and Albany Rensselaer Train Station will be added soon. In New York City, stops include W.53rd Street and 6th Avenue, W.51st Street and Broadway, and the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal (Fort Washington and Broadway between 178th and 179th Streets).

OurBus fares to New York City, which are the lowest of any bus company that services the corridor, start at $19.

Amenities for OurBus passengers include complimentary bottled water, free Wifi, and USB ports at each seat. The buses in the Albany-NYC route are contracted with independent coach services and are premium, charter-style motor coaches. Safety protocols for OurBus include mandatory masking for passengers/staff as well as comprehensive cleaning/disinfecting of each bus consistent with CDC guidelines upon returning to the Albany depot.
