• Despite appointment questions, CPRB member says relationship with council improving (wamc.org) — Albany’s Community Police Review Board has regained a quorum after several resignations, allowing it to tackle a backlog of more than 40 cases. A new member’s past fraud conviction has raised appointment questions, but another board member says relations with the Common Council and Mayor Kathy Sheehan are improving and remains optimistic about the board’s independence. 
• Wild Center helps with new play area at Albany airport (adirondackdailyenterprise.com) — Families flying through Albany International Airport now have a new 1,300‑square‑foot Adirondack-themed play area, mural, and sculpture to explore while they wait for flights. The Adirondack Imaginarium, created with The Wild Center and other regional partners, aims to give kids a calming, hands-on taste of the North Country and Adirondacks while showcasing Albany’s role as a modern, welcoming Capital Region gateway.
