2 Men Killed In Queens Plaza ATV Crash, Police Say
Two men riding an ATV were killed early Friday when they crashed into a semi-truck at Queens Plaza in Long Island City, police said.

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — Two men riding an ATV were killed early Friday when they crashed into a semi-truck at Queens Plaza, according to police.
The collision happened near the intersection of Queens Plaza South and Jackson Avenue, just before 2 a.m., according to police.
Both men on the ATV were in their 30s, an NYPD spokesperson said. One man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he too was pronounced deceased, police said.

The driver of the semi truck stayed at the scene and was not injured, police said.

At least 28 people have been injured in crashes at the same intersection since 2012, including 25 drivers, two cyclists and one pedestrian, according to city data.
