Suspect Sought After Stabbing Man Multiple Times On NYC Subway

QUEENS, NY — Police are searching for a man who stabbed a subway rider multiple times on a train in Queens over the weekend.

The incident happened on a Manhattan-bound R train at the Steinway Street station in Astoria around 2 a.m. on Saturday, police said.

The suspect and the subway rider got into an argument before the victim was stabbed multiple times in the torso and left leg.

The subway rider got off the train after the attack, while the suspect stayed onboard.

The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst for treatment.

No arrests have been made, and an investigation remains ongoing.
