5 Arrested In Queens With Loaded Gun, Taser, Marijuana: NYPD
Cops busted a driver for running a red light and blocking traffic near Queensbridge, then wound up seizing a haul of weapons and drugs.

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — Police officers busted a driver for running a red light and blocking traffic near Queensbridge Houses, then wound up seizing a haul of weapons and marijuana from the five people inside the car.
The 24-year-old Brooklyn man driving the Toyota Camry and four others were arrested Thursday night outside the public housing complex on drug and weapons charges, according to Det. Annette Shelton, an NYPD spokesperson.
Inside the car, police found a loaded 9mm handgun, a taser, dozens of bags of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to the spokesperson.

The five people arrested are a 24-year-old Queensbridge man, three residents of Brooklyn's Farragut Houses and a man from Brooklyn's Gowanus Houses.
