LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — A famous Manhattan bakery is celebrating its 25th birthday by handing out one of its best-known treats for free across New York City, including in Queens.

On July 18, Magnolia Bakery is distributing 500 banana puddings at Gantry State Plaza in a "banana pudding mobile," which will stop in Long Island City around 11:30 a.m., according to the bakery's Instagram.

This is the second weekend in a row that the bakery is handing out hundreds of treats, but the free banana puddings ran out quickly in Astoria last Sunday, so the bakery advises showing up early.
