Astoria Citi Bike Expansion Starts To Take Shape
The city's bike-share network is expanding further into Astoria. A new map released Monday shows what that could look like.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — Citi Bike is pedaling further into Astoria, and a newly-unveiled map gives cyclists a sneak peek at what the expanded bike-share network would look like.
The draft map, which the NYC Department of Transportation presented Monday to members of Queens Community Board 1's transportation committee, proposes more than four dozen new Citi Bike docking stations across the Ditmars-Steinway section of Astoria and the neighborhood's eastern edge.
The Department of Transportation hosted virtual meetings and town halls and set up an online portal to gather ideas for station sites.
