Missing Astoria Girl Found Safe After Less Than A Day

An Astoria teenager who was reported missing from her home on Thursday was found safe hours later, police said.

The 13-year-old girl had last been seen around 10 p.m. Wednesday leaving her home within the NYCHA Ravenswood Houses, on 35th Avenue near 21st Street, according to police.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — A teenage girl who was reported missing from her Astoria home on Wednesday was found safe less than a day later, police said.

The 13-year-old girl had last been seen around 10 p.m. Wednesday leaving her home within the NYCHA Ravenswood Houses, on 35th Avenue near 21st Street, according to police.

By 4:30 p.m. Thursday, police said she had been found and was afe.
