Astoria, LIC Parks To Screen Free Movies For Children
Seven movies will be screened at parks in Long Island City, Astoria, and other Western Queens neighborhoods from May 12 to July 21.
ASTORIA, QUEENS — With summer right around the corner, families looking to engage in outdoor activities in the neighborhood can head to nearby parks for a free movie screening.
Seven movies will be screened at different parks in Long Island City, Astoria, and other Western Queens neighborhoods from May 12 to July 21.
All movies will start at 7:30 p.m. The series is sponsored by Council Member Julie Won. The Council Member said that more screenings at Gantry State Park will soon be announced.

May 12: Turning Red (L/CPL Thomas P. Noonan Jr. Playground)

July 21: Turning Red (Queensbridge Park)
