Astoria Man Has Been Missing All Month, Police Say
The 42-year-old was last seen in Battery Park on the evening of Nov. 1st. As of Nov. 29th he is still missing, police said.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — On the evening of Nov. 1st, Matthew DiPiano of Astoria went on a walk around Battery Park and hasn't been seen since, police said.
That evening, around 5:00 p.m., DiPiano was seen at the southern tip of Manhattan wearing a dark jacket and blue jeans, according to the NYPD.
The 42-year-old Astoria resident, who lives at 21-57 41st Street, hasn't been seen since, said police, who were still looking for him as of Nov. 29th — nearly a month after he went missing.

Police described him as a bald man with blue eyes. He is about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 215 pounds with a heavyset build.
The NYPD shared a photo of DiPiano and asked anyone with information about his whereabouts to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
