Astoria Teen Has Been Missing Since Tuesday, Police Say

Police asked for help finding 15-year-old Gisell Munoz, who lives in Astoria and was last seen Tuesday at her high school.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — A 15-year-old Astoria girl has gone missing, days after she was last seen at her Queens high school, according to police.

Gissell Munoz lives on 35th Avenue in Astoria, but was last seen around 11:40 a.m. Tuesday at her school at 142-10 Linden Blvd. in Jamaica — the site of the Queens Transition Center high school.

Police described Giselle as Hispanic and about 5 feet, 2 inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweater and blue jeans.

Police asked anyone with information about her whereabouts to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). People can also submit tips online or on Twitter, @NYPDTips.
