Astoria Woman Found After Going Missing For 3 Days, Police Say

Update: Stephanie Cordero was found "safe and in good condition" on Tuesday afternoon, the police said.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — Police are searching for a woman who they say went missing from her home last Saturday evening.

Stephanie Cordero, 39, was last seen around 7:00 p.m. Saturday Sept. 4 at her home located at 20-15 24 Street in Ditmars Steinway, said the NYPD.

Cordero was still missing as of the following Tuesday morning, police reported.

She was described by the NYPD as 5-feet, 6-inches tall and 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue flower-printed dress and red sandals.
