Car Catches Fire Under Astoria Blvd Train Station: FDNY
Firefighters are responding to a car that burst into flames on Astoria Boulevard.

ASTORIA, QUEENS -- Firefighters are responding to a car that burst into flames underneath the Astoria Boulevard train station on Wednesday afternoon, an FDNY spokesman told Patch.
Firefighters got a call about the blaze on the Astoria Boulevard near 31st Street at around 1:40 p.m., the spokesman said. The FDNY dispatched four companies to get the fire under control.
No injuries were reported from the fire.

Both NYPD and FDNY said it was unclear whether any roads are closed from the car fire. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
