Girl, 15, Goes Missing In Astoria, Police Say

Police asked for help finding 15-year-old Aesia McFadden, who went missing from her home at the NYCHA Ravenswood Houses in Astoria.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — Police on Wednesday asked for help finding a teenage girl who went missing from her Astoria home days earlier.

Aesia McFadden, 15, was last seen around midnight Monday leaving her home on 34th Avenue near 21st Street, within the NYCHA Ravenwood Houses.

She is described as Black, about 5 feet 2 inches tall, with dark brown hair.

Police did not know what clothing she was last seen wearing.

The NYPD shared a photo of Aesia and asked anyone with information about her whereabouts to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
