Girl, 15, Missing From Astoria Home, Police Say

Imana Gonzalez went missing Monday from her home at the NYCHA Astoria Houses, according to police.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — Police are asking for help finding a teenage girl who went missing Monday from her Astoria home and has not been seen since.

Imana Gonzalez, 15, was last seen around 5 p.m. on Feb. 28 at her home in the NYCHA Astoria Houses in the Halletts Point area, according to police.

Police described her as about 5 feet, 1 inch tall with an average build, dark skin, brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a blue jacket with tan fur, a black sweater, gray sweatpants and black sneakers.

Police asked anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). People can also submit tips online or on Twitter, @NYPDTips.
