LIC Man, 51, Has Been Missing For More Than A Month, Police Say
Donald Smith has been missing since early July from his home at the Queensbridge Houses, according to police.

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — A man has been missing from his home in a Long Island City public housing development for more than a month, according to police.
Donald Smith, 51, was last seen on July 9 at around 8 a.m., inside his home at the NYCHA Queensbridge Houses on 12th Street near 47th Avenue, police said.
Smith was not reported missing until Aug. 27, police said.

Police described Smith has about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 180 pounds, with a medium build and dark skin. He is balding and has black hair and brown eyes, police said.
Police shared a photo of Smith and asked anyone with information to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). People can also submit tips online or on Twitter, @NYPDTips.
