LIC Worker Gets Hand Stuck In 'Dumpling Skin Machine'
The person was able to disentangle themselves from the machine by the time EMS arrived to take them to the hospital.
LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — A worker in Long Island City got their hand stuck in a dumpling making machine this week.
Around 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24th — the evening before Thanksgiving Day — the FDNY got a call from a person working at 23-01 Borden Avenue, a primarily industrial thoroughfare in Long Island City near the Newtown Creek.
The person told fire officials that they had their hand stuck in a "dumpling skin machine."

Upon arrival, however, the person managed to disentangle themselves from the machine, and EMS transported them to a hospital in Brooklyn.
Fire officials told Patch that they did not know the condition of the person as of Friday.

Two businesses are registered under the address at 23-01 Borden Avenue: A pet supply store called Muni Paw, and a grocery wholesaler named Safi Pushcart Supplies.
Patch was not able to immediately contact either business for comment.
